Naan’long Daniel, the member representing Mikang in Plateau State House of Assemblt and other well wishers, Chief Kefas toured the bustling site of the ongoing renovations, his resolve was palpable. “This hospital holds a significant place in my heart,” he said, his voice carrying both the weight of his loss and the hope of his vision. “Renovating the A&E unit is my way of ensuring that the people of Plateau receive the best possible care in times of urgent need.”

The A&E unit, a critical part of the hospital, is undergoing a transformation that promises to enhance its capacity and efficiency. Dr. Peter, the head of the unit, detailed the extensive upgrades being implemented. “Due to the number of states this hospital serves, it is important we expand this unit. We’re installing state-of-the-art medical equipment, expanding our trauma care facilities, and improving our emergency response systems. He is providing over 34 beds for patients, expansion of cubicles for each patient, new generation lightning, monitors at every cubicle to facilitate a central monitoring of the state of every patient, toilet upgrades, air exhaust to purify the air and vacate bad or contaminated air and some other important renovations thats needed presently” Dr. Peter explained, his enthusiasm evident. “Chief Ropshik’s generous contribution is nothing short of transformative. It will allow us to save more lives and offer better care to our patients.”
